Dice Racing League (DRL)

Here is how the DRL works.  Every Monday night I will run the simulated
qualifying runs and post the results on the website.  The race will be
run every Wednesday night and the results posted on the website.  Where
you qualify and finish will determine how many DRL points you will earn
towards improving your driver.  The season is 22 total weeks long.  The
first 16 weeks are the regular season and the final 6 weeks are our chase.
All 15 drivers will make the chase.  Standings, stats, and driver cards
will all be updated on the website weekly.

Improving your driver is a MUST!  We all start out the same.  Spend the
DRL points you earn by improving your driver in every area.  The better
your driver is, the better he will perform on the track, and
the more
DRL points you will earn.  Below is a breakdown of the categories you
can improve and the affect they have on your driver.

QUALIFY RATING:  The better your rating the better chances you have of
qualifying for a better starting position every week.

TROUBLE RATING:  The trouble rating is your ability to finish races.
A driver with a trouble rating of E will not finish a high percentage
of races, opposed to an A rated racer who will finish races very often.

TROUBLE NUMBERS:  Every driver starts with 95-99.  The least amount of
trouble numbers you have the least amount of chances
you have to get into
trouble on the race track.

COURSE RATINGS:  Every driver starts with an E rating in Speed, Super, Road
and Short.  The better your rating the quicker your car can get around the
track on these particular courses.  A driver with an A rating on a Speedway
should always beat a driver with an E rating.

You can spend points to improve your driver before qualifying and after a race.
You cannot improve your driver between that weeks qualifying run and that weeks
race.  You can also save some or all of your points for use at a later time.
If you want to add another driver to your racing team, you will need to save
up 10,000 points.  Team owners are allowed a total of 4 drivers.  The team owner
will get all of the points earned from all 4 of his drivers combined and he can
spread those out and spend them as he so desires.

For those of you that would like to create your own team or driver website,
give me the link and I will make it so if you click on your name it will
take you to your own website.
